1 Week in Australia

Hi (: My last cinema experience in Korea for the time being, I watched The Amazing Spider-Man

Foggy day to fly, set the mood perfectly.. After completing my internship in Korea, it was time to fly back home to Sydney. But I will definitely be returning very soon!

An 8 hour stop over in Jakarta.. Not the longest I’ve experienced, but long enough! I’m glad they gave me a pass to enter the Emerald Sky Lounge, free food! (:

I woke up in the plane just in time for this (: Australian Sunrise

Nice food everywhere in Australia! Lebanese food first!

Thai! Yum!

Fried ice cream!

Hired a mini bus and drove down the coast with the family

Said hello to some cows

And then a short stop at Bowral

Bought a meat pie at the award winning Gumnut Pattiserie. One of the best meat pies I’ve ever eaten!

Next was the Cambewarra Mountain Lookout

Perfect day for riding, looks fun!

Another short break at Huskisson Bay

Boats returning before the tide gets too low

Last stop was Hyams Beach

We arrived just in time for the sunset

Beautiful view

Even the seagulls enjoyed the view

The sand at this beach was so white, so nice!

You just brought back so many memories for me as I’ve left Australia seven months ago to live in the UK. All those pictures are near where I lived – Huskisson and Bowral only within 1-2 hours drive away. Lovely pictures.
Thank you for your kind comment (: I love driving along the Australian coast, always beautiful places to see! (:
Australia looks amazing.
Also, what flavor was the fried ice cream? I’ve never had fried ice cream that resembled a scone before.. it looks scrumptious!
Australia is amazing!
I think it was just vanilla, it was amazing! (:
Adrian,
Ah, this looks absolutely incredible. I hope to visit someday! Thanks for stopping by my blog and for your like! Definitely following you to see what comes next!

Beautiful sunsets. Would you mind if I pinned a few onto a pinterest board?
Thank you so much! Feel free to pin them (:
Very nice sunset shots!
You take everything with your iPhone, yes? Very nice indeed.
Thanks! Yep all with my iPhone (:
Wow, I want to visit Australia even more now! Was already planning on it but this sealed the deal! Thanks for the photos and the like. Take care.
Definitely visit Australia! (: Thanks for your comment (:
LOVE your shot of the sunrise from the plane! Glad you enjoyed Australia so much. I’ve been to the Gumnut Patisserie too, except I went to their shop in Berrima (quite close to Bowral). AMAZING cakes! I think my Mum and I shared four cakes between us :p And then we really needed a nap afterwards. And you’re right, Lebanese food rocks!
Thanks! Yesss there cakes are amazingggg too! (:
What a journey!
A journey indeed! (:
That Lebanese food looks yumm yumm …
Great photos too … !!
Thanks! Lebanese food is really yummm! (:
Great shots! I’m looking forward to a few days back in Oz next month. Any recommendations for a day trip close to Sydney on public transport?
Thanks! Ummmm have you visited the Blue Mountains yet? You can get off at Katoomba station, I think it takes roughly 2 hours from Sydney city. I also visited Wentworth Falls which is only a 10 minute drive from Katoomba, I can definitely recommend this place but I’m not sure how to get there without a car..
Thanks! I did make it out there already- what an amazing place! And the little towns around it like Leura were great, too.
I love and miss sandy beaches, as beaches in Nice are rocky.
These photos make me miss home so much! Love the beaches especially
definitely going to Australia some time!
Yes you should! Haha (:
